Practice your "instrument" everyday

Anyone who knows anything has given me that advice "practice every day" I however like the arrogant fool I am, didn't listen... I have been through about ten rewrites on this "new' song and did actually send one to Mr. Menga for critiquing... And I did in turn get a reply... His response was insightful and very professional... Which got me to realize the whole thing SUCKED.... grrr... With the exception of the chorus I re-did everything, and after listening to the chorus (or "hook" you rapper you) yet again, I hated that too, it goes well with the music standing alone and is "catchy" but to me does not fit the attitude of the song, SO long story short (too late), I am rewriting a more suitable melody for the song... I believe I have the verses finished, I think they rock... Good story in the words (every once and a while I do that) they are recorded, and in my opinion suitable for release (we'll see what Mr. Menga says)... I have to finish the melody for the chorus which is close to the old one just less... Wimpy... And I have to finish all this in 11 days... Can the MiDgEt do it? I dunno but stay tuned to find out.
